Walter Heinz, Co-Founder, President and CFO of Parish Support Services
His expertise is in the areas of financial planning, estate planning, trusts, and foundations. He is also active as a support consultant in Parish Support Services, Inc. He is retired from Lutheran Brotherhood, now known as Thrivent Financial. He is well versed in specialty areas of endowments, financial planning, trusts, and foundations. He received his elementary education in Lutheran grade schools. He attended Concordia High School and College in Fort Wayne, Indiana and completed his education at the University of Detroit Business School and Walsh Institute of Accounting. Walter is also a current member of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives (ALDE).
Walter is a lifelong Christian and is well known and highly respected in the Christian community. He is past President, Vice-President, and member of the advisory board of the Lutheran Luncheon Club. He is a current member and officer of the Lutheran Choralaires (a distinguished male chorus), and serves on the advisory board for Historic Trinity Lutheran Church in Detroit, Michigan. Activities in his congregation include service on boards of stewardship, education, elders, and foundation development.
Jacqueline Heinz, Director of Internal Operations for Parish Support Services
She brings a wealth of experience to Parish Support Services including Lutheran schoolteacher, department head, and choir director. In addition to being an educator, Jacqueline’s expertise lies in office management, account representative and bookkeeping. She earned her education from Concordia College, Fort Wayne Indiana and Concordia Teachers college in Illinois. She is active in a number of organizations, including serving as a board member of Compassion Pregnancy Center.
Andrea Michal, Manager of Accounting and Internal Finance for Parish Support Services
She came to Parish Support Services after 19 years as a senior accountant and office manager with a public accounting firm. Her expertise lies in corporate accounting, auditing, tax planning & preparation and financial planning. She earned her education at Oakland University and Macomb Community College. In addition to her career, Andrea is a working mother that is active in her children’s community schools.
